United Soccer Academy has been building relationships with programs and coaches overseas for over 30 years. The foundation is there to arrange clinics and training with coaches from European Federations, such as the DBU (Danish Football Association), DFB (German Football Association), RFEF (Spanish Football Federation), or FIGC (Italian Football Federation) and with top clubs such as FC Barcelona, AC Milan, Manchester United, Glasgow Rangers, Arsenal FC, FC Nordsjælland, Sao Paulo FC, and Santos FC – just to name a few. These clinics are an excellent way to begin a tour and serve as fantastic warm-ups prior to tournament participation.
United Soccer Academy can arrange homestay programs with European teams of the same age and gender of their American counterparts. Experience a different culture firsthand through a 2-3 day program with a European soccer family. Along with local sightseeing excursions, one to two friendly matches will be arranged with your host club.
Along with a professionally coordinated and organized soccer program United Soccer Academy also organizes sightseeing and cultural activities that fit within the goals and needs of specific teams. Activities like guided sightseeing excursions to historic sights and team outings to professional matches to community outreach are quite often the off-field highlights of the tour and a great way to complement the soccer and enhance the total experience.
Tour prices are guaranteed in US Dollars upon the receipt of the team’s deposits. There are no exchange rate supplements.
All United Soccer Academy programs and tours include and are managed with well experienced and professional tour managers and coordinators. Whether in Europe, South America, or Asia teams will have an experienced United Soccer Academy, bi-lingual tour manager and/or coordinator to provide assistance at each destination and throughout the tour.
United Soccer Academy will assist team coaches and managers with obtaining the necessary paperwork and permission to travel from US Soccer as needed for game competition and tournaments overseas.
Teams and clubs traveling overseas from the United States have several options in terms lodging and one thing nearly 30 years of experience has taught United Soccer Academy is that you can never overestimate the importance of a good night’s rest. Accommodation arrangements can be suited to your budget ranging from three and four-star hotels to dormitories at professional training centers to university accommodations, youth hostels and when applicable host families.
Another key component of a successful tour is meal package that is arranged on tour. Based on the team and club traveling, goals and needs, and budget, United Soccer Academy can coordinate meals accordingly. Most tours are half board (breakfast and dinner) and, depending on desires and budgets, dining options often range from the hotels to local restaurants to cookouts or catering at a team’s clubhouses.
Transportation within Europe, South America, and overseas is usually by private motor coach, your team’s mobile club house. There are some exceptions, most commonly while at major youth tournaments where transportation (both public and private) is provided for all teams. United Soccer Academy tours offer the added ease and convenience of making the travel to and from airports via private motor coach. Some tours may also include cruises and ferries when traveling between destinations.
United Soccer Academy works directly with the group departments of major airlines and airline consolidators to offer the best possible airfares on all flights whether domestic or international. United Soccer Academy’s ability to provide experienced assistance with the airline logistics and ticketing provides teams traveling with a first-rate service.
For every 15 full paying participants (players, coaches and family members) one (1) free place for the coach or team manager is included in the tour price.
At United Soccer Academy we take the utmost care with every stage of your travel, accommodation and soccer and cultural program. United Soccer Academy service and care begins at the initial inquiry and continues at every step of the tour planning, pre-trip communication and administration of your tour.
